  • Physical Therapy can help improve function and reduce shoulder pain.
    • In a randomized control trial by Ginn and Cohen (2004), shoulder function was found to improve by 88% at 6 months following conservative physical therapy treatments. These findings were also consistent with Millar, Jasheway, Eaton & Christensen (2006) whom reported reduced impairments and improved function for patients with a variety of shoulder dysfunctions following participation in outpatient physical therapy.
